In an increasingly AI-driven world, authenticity has become key to combatting the growing prevalence of 'fake' information. This especially resonates with Gen-Z, the first generation to grow up in a completely technological world.
 
    Growing up in a technological world, Gen-Z have developed an eye for spotting the fake and phoney, responding best to messages delivered from a place of authenticity. With the arrival of Generative AI, they are uniquely placed to bring their ‘well-honed scepticism’ and ability to spot disinformation to interpret what is fake and what is real. 
Using her experience as a teacher in the School of Business and Management at Royal Holloway, Dr Gill-Simmen outlines how teaching methods based on creativity, real-world experience, and physical engagement can help students thrive, preparing them to step into the future AI-driven world with greater confidence.
