Key Details:

Join us for the SEDarc Summer School, this year’s theme, "Impactful Research".

We welcome Dr. Joanna Miller-Smallwood as our keynote speaker. Her talk, "The Rights of Nature: Advocating for the Andean Bear in the Ecuadorian Andes", will explore innovative approaches to conservation. Dr. Miller-Smallwood’s work exemplifies how research can bridge ecological justice and community empowerment.

In sessions with Dr James Morland and Dr Emily Danvers you can learn how to translate your research into compelling narratives that reach broader audiences. These hands-on sessions will equip you with tools to amplify your voice and engage the public and stakeholders.

Other sessions provide the opportunity to discover research from SEDarc’s PhD and community, providing a platform for emerging researchers to share their work, receive feedback, and inspire interdisciplinary dialogue.

We look forward to hosting you all!
